/PRZWT/ The winter night is long, and the city has not yet awakened. On the main traffic artery that runs through the north and south of Ma'anshan, a city guardian appeared: the unmanned cleaning robot Kusa Xingjun®, a professional urban service robot. With its core feature of being able to operate under low light conditions, it began its daily cleaning service at the early hours of the morning, bringing an unprecedented cleaning experience to Ma'anshan.

Kusa Star Juni robot goes on duty. Maanshan welcomes a new type of intelligent environmental sanitation.

The Kusa Star Jun® unmanned cleaning robot has planned scientific operation periods. The daily operation is divided into two periods: from 3:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. and from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. It precisely avoids the morning and evening traffic peaks in the city to ensure the normal operation rhythm of the city. At the same time, with the advantage of low-noise operation, it minimizes the disturbance to the surrounding residential areas and protects the residents' rest environment. Its multi-scenario adaptable cleaning ability can fully cover different urban scenarios such as residential areas and commercial areas, perfectly matching the diversified cleaning and maintenance needs of Ma'anshan, and demonstrating the scene-adaptation value of urban service robots.

The demands of urban development have spurred the intelligent transformation of the sanitation model.

In the 2025 annual city management meeting, Ma'anshan pointed out that it is necessary to strictly implement the new round of refined management, expand the intelligent sanitation management platform and form a "single network" of intelligent sanitation management throughout the city. This indicates that the digitalized urban management in Ma'anshan has entered the stage of deep integration. Previously, Ma'anshan's urban sanitation has long relied on manual-based mechanized operations, which not only faced high-risk environmental hazards and blind areas of experience-based operations under manual operations, but also was in a predicament where the mechanized operations relied on fuel vehicles with high carbon emissions contradicted the city's "dual carbon" goals.

The shortcomings of the traditional sanitation model urgently require the intervention of urban service robots such as unmanned cleaning robots. By applying intelligent and low-carbon technologies, the sanitation industry can achieve transformation and upgrading. The first unmanned cleaning robot in Ma'anshan has been put into use, which is a key measure for Ma'anshan to respond to development needs. It has a profound impact on its smart city construction and low-carbon transformation.

Xing Yun's powerful capabilities, achieving precise coverage in multiple scenarios

As a professional urban service robot, the Kusa Star Jun ® unmanned sweeping robot project has an 8-hour long-lasting battery life, reducing the reliance on manual labor throughout the entire cleaning operation process and perfectly meeting the core requirements of intelligent urban sanitation. Secondly, the project's operation tasks cover various complex and comprehensive scenarios such as slow lanes, pedestrian paths, auxiliary roads, and back alleys, and the unmanned sweeping robots all respond precisely with intelligent upgrades. For daily general sweeping tasks, the visual AI integrated with multiple sensors in the environmental perception system of the unmanned sweeping robot can achieve centimeter-level high-precision edge-to-edge cleaning, without dead corners, and adapt to various types of road operations; for the previous round-the-clock cleaning tasks achieved through manual means, through the intelligent cloud control platform, the operation robots can be connected in real time and the returned data can be processed, thereby remotely scheduling the robot cluster for collaboration, allowing digital inspection to replace traditional manual inspection, and improving operation efficiency and management accuracy.

This time, the Kusa Starju ® unmanned cleaning robot was launched in Ma'anshan. It is part of the unmanned sanitation project deployed along the key path of the integration development of Nanjing, Ma'anshan and Wuhu. Its demonstration significance is self-evident. Kusa Technology has officially kicked off the development of smart sanitation in Ma'anshan, connecting intelligent equipment to its smart management system from the digital source. And the zero-carbon emission and environmentally friendly unmanned cleaning robot has paved a replicable path of low-carbon and smart unmanned sanitation for its sustainable development.

Accelerating national expansion plan. Kusa Technology sketches out a new blueprint for smart sanitation.

The journey is long and arduous, but with perseverance, one will reach the destination. As a pioneer in the field of urban service robots, Kusa Technology has been deeply engaged in the research and application of unmanned cleaning robots. Currently, it has been deployed in over 30 cities both domestically and internationally. It will continue to expand the list of 10 or more municipal and county (district) level first implementations through a stable commercialization process. Based on the compliant products verified through market mass delivery, it will expand its national layout, making the Kusa Xingjun ® unmanned cleaning robot the "smart guardian" of more cities' sanitation, and promoting the national sanitation industry to achieve a comprehensive upgrade towards intelligence, low-carbonization, and refinement.
