/PRZWT/Shijiazhuang, May 6, 2024 - On April 28, 2024, the "2024 Hebei Province Flower Arrangement Exhibition Competition" with the theme of "Flower Arrangement Lights up a Better Life" was jointly organized by the Hebei Provincial Forest and Grass Seedling and Economic Forest Flower Center, Shijiazhuang Botanical Garden, Hebei Provincial Flower Association, and Hebei Provincial Landscape Architecture Industry Association. The exhibition time is April 28-May 5.
The purpose of this exhibition is to let more people understand the types, characteristics and uses of flowers through floral exchanges and flower arrangement competitions, so as to further promote and inherit the Chinese flower arrangement art, continuously improve people's appreciation and awareness of flower art, promote the exchange and cooperation of flower arrangement, and promote the province's flower industry to achieve high-quality innovation and development.
In order to hold the exhibition well, the Hebei Provincial Flower Center hired an exhibition review committee composed of 5 national-level flower arrangement masters, and issued the "Notice on the 2024 Hebei Province Flower Arrangement Exhibition Competition" in March. It formulated the "2024 Hebei Province Flower Arrangement Exhibition Competition Plan", which clearly regulates the exhibition time, review procedures, participants, exhibitors and other aspects, and puts forward specific and detailed requirements to ensure the smooth and orderly progress of the exhibition competition. According to the exhibition regulations, the Flower Arrangement Exhibition Competition consists of three links: registration review, on-site competition, and exhibition of works. Among them, the on-site competition is divided into two parts: Chinese modern flower arrangement and Chinese traditional flower arrangement.
After the notice was issued, the province's flower arranging personnel and flower arranging enthusiasts signed up enthusiastically. By the deadline for registration, a total of nearly 80 people had signed up for the competition. After being reviewed and screened by the exhibition evaluation committee at various levels, a total of 45 contestants entered the on-site competition. After intense and intense competition, under the comprehensive evaluation of the exhibition jury, the first prize of this flower arranging exhibition was 5, the second prize was 9, the third prize was 12, and the excellence award was 18. At the same time, the contestants who won the first and second prizes were also awarded the title of "Hebei Province Flower Arrangement Expert" by the Hebei Provincial Flower Center.

The holding of this flower arrangement exhibition further demonstrates the good image of the rapid development of the flower industry in Hebei Province. It is convenient for flower industry personnel in different regions to learn from each other, learn from each other and communicate with each other. As a whole, the flower arrangement skills of flower practitioners and flower arrangement enthusiasts in our province have been improved, and the flower arrangement culture in our province has been greatly developed.

By the end of 2023, the province's flower industry employed a total of more than 200,000 people, the flower planting area reached 536,000 mu, the total output value of flowers 4.19 billion yuan, the annual output of ornamental seedlings 273 million plants, potted plants 85.94 million pots, fresh cut flowers 77.24 million, forming a cyclamen, rose, anthurium, Phalaenopsis, golden lotus, dahlia, fruit bonsai and other famous local characteristic products as the focus, the province's flower industry gradually gathered from the decentralized to the core production area, the flower industry has become another ecological industry for flower farmers to get rich and increase their income.
