/PRZWT/Shandong, March 15, 2024 - On February 27, the winners of the "6th National College Student Innovation and Creative Design Competition" sponsored by the Shandong Artists Association and the School of Art of Shandong University were announced. After intense competition, the works of teachers and students such as Wang Jianlong, Yang Pingping, Li Long, Li Zhao, Dong Shengnan, Wang Xinyao, Xue Bing, and Shang Yuzhen of the School of Art and Design of Yantai Nanshan University were successfully selected and won the Excellence Award (no grade award). Yantai Nanshan College won the "Excellent Organization Award".
This competition is an important event organized by Shandong Artists Association to fully implement the fundamental task of Lide and Shuping People, strengthen aesthetic education in colleges and universities, and consolidate the construction of aesthetic education bases. Since the announcement of the competition, a total of 22 event promotion lectures have been held in colleges and universities across the country, nearly 3,000 design teachers and students have participated, and a total of 4,203 valuable posts have been received from 329 colleges and design practitioners across the country. Finally, 416 outstanding awards have been selected, 23 outstanding instructors, and 26 excellent organization award colleges and universities. Yantai Nanshan College stood out and won a number of awards.
Since the introduction of the "Measures for the Recognition of Literary, Art and Sports Practice Achievement Grades of Yantai Nanshan University", the School of Art and Design has fully implemented the fundamental task of Lide and Cultivating People, attached great importance to the participation of professional teachers and students in exhibitions and competitions, and played an important role in "training through competition, promoting learning through competition, and promoting teaching through competition" with the help of major competition platforms. It promotes the innovative consciousness of teachers and students, stimulates creative thinking, and improves creative ability.
